Process Safety Management Tech – Ramsey Gas Plant

Anadarko; Orla, TX, US

Job Summary
This position is located in Anadarko’s Southern & Appalachia Region as a member of the Ramsey Gathering Gas Plant in Orla, Texas.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Must have intermediate computer skills (MS Office software).
  • Must be able to work in the outdoors in extreme temperatures .
  • Two years’ experience leading or coordinating PSM and RMP activities.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the PSM Standard and RMP rule and be able to lead associated activities at the facility and asset level.
  • Must be able to conduct training in both small and large group settings.
  • Must be self-motivated and be capable of coordinating work activities with minimal supervisor direction.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and organization of Process Safety Information (piping & instrumentation drawings, equipment files, cause and effect diagrams, process flow diagrams, material and energy balances, relief valve data, plot plans, operating procedures, contractor compliance etc.)
  • Administration of the Management of Change or (MOC) program which includes, but is not limited to, change approvals, start-up approvals, hazard evaluation, coordination of training of personnel on changes, and updating of Process Safety Information.
  • Participate in the Process Hazard Analysis or (PHA) program, which may include facilitating Management of Change PHA reviews, participating in facility wide and Management of Change PHA reviews, execution of recommendations from PHA, preparation activities for PHA, for providing key team members to the review team, and ensuring documentation is available for employees at the facility.
  • Participate in the facilitation, administration, and documentation of Pre Start-Up Safety Reviews or (PSSR).
  • Assist with the coordination of Mechanical Integrity inspections
  • Coordinating and participating in PSM/RMP compliance audits.
  • Assist in coordinating the facility PSM/RMP training program.
  • Participate in investigations of PSM events.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications/Licenses
Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

Relocation
This position is not eligible for relocation.

Travel Requirements
Candidate must live within 75 miles of The Ramsey Gas Plant in Orla, Texas.

Work Schedule
This position is eligible for a 14/14 rotational schedule

Decision Support Analyst

Chevron; San Ramon, CA, US

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Support Americas Finished Lubricants.
  • Provide business performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting to support Sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Routinely engage with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, along with colleagues in Business Support to ensure timely, accurate, reliable financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Deliver timely, accurate, reliable analysis, investigation, and reporting of business performance (financial, operational, key performance indicators, etc.)
  • Provide fit for purpose market segment analysis and ad-hoc support for Sales and/or Marketing (portfolio analysis, business case development, etc.) May develop non-standard reports requiring in-depth analysis and commentary.
  • Support data gathering and analysis on competitors and the markets we serve.
  • Identify opportunities and develop recommendations or initiatives to improve the business.
  • May work on projects of bigger scope and wider impact such as ROCE analysis of various product lines; comparison of data gathered from competitor intelligence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business/Economics/Finance or related discipline.
  • A minimum 3 years related experience.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong user of Excel and Office applications.
  • Good communication, presentation and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with various reporting tools for business analysis (Vendavo Profit Analyzer, SAP BI, Management Operating System (MOS), Downstream Management Reporting (DMR), SalesForce, etc.)

An ideal candidate should possess the following expertise:

Background:

  • Ph.D. or Masters in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Informatics
  • At least four years of professional experience outside academia
  • Strong in mathematics and statistics
  • Software development experience
  • Proven leadership skills or project management expertise

Personal skills:

  • Leadership skills to guide a project team from a commercial, technical and scientific perspective
  • Learn new mathematical or technical methods quickly and with little guidance
  • Willingness to participate in the sales process as a subject matter expert
  • Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations to non-scientific audiences
