Internal Controls & Compliance Anlayst

Job Summary
This position is located in Anadarko Corporate office in The Woodlands, TX and is a member of the Internal Controls Team. This position will have an essential responsibility to assist the planning, organization, and execution of the Company’s annual effort for Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (“SOX”).
Qualifications
- A minimum of (0) zero to two (3) years of relevant experience required
- Two (2) or more years of public accounting experience preferred
- Oil and Gas industry is a plus
- SAP experience preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, including those outside the Corporate Accounting Organization (CAO)
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Must be a team player with excellent communication and organization skills
Responsibilities
Compliance with SOX Section 404:
- Coordinate Audit Requests between Process Owners/IT and KPMG
- Lead IT audit from start to finish (planning, walkthroughs, testing)
- Maintain company’s segregation of duties rule set and software
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for Internal Controls on the majority of projects company-wide
- Execute and/or review SOX testing for financial and IT control audit
- Evaluate and communicate control deficiencies
- Consult with management on process risks/controls
- Act as a mouthpiece for the company to communicate the importance of Internal Control over Financial Reporting
- Prepare and consult on company communication with the audit committee
- Desire to learn on every aspect of the business as it is expected you know what’s going on in the company
- Interact with process owners and key personnel across multiple disciplines within the Company to effectively communicate Section 404 requirements, testing practices and deadlines.
- Assist in documentation of significant controls and process flowcharts.
- Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and document results of evaluation.
- Perform Information Technology General Control (ITGC) testing, reports testing, and interface testing.
- Identify, accumulate and evaluate design and operating control deficiencies; communicate findings and ensure remediation of deficiencies.
- Assist external auditors with substantive testing
- Review of segregation of duties.
- Assist in various projects throughout the company.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent work experience required. MS/MBA preferred.

Clinic Supervisor

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Performs direct on-site medical examinations and clinical evaluations including the delivery of international assignment, pre-placement, and selected biomedical surveillance exams for clients and employees. Assesses employee medical fitness for duty; and, consults on employee assistance program and mental health cases when requested.
- Provides occupational health consultations, evaluations, and immunizations to international travelers, expatriate employees and dependents according to Clinic process manual. Conducts travel health orientations for expatriates and business travelers. Performs health assessments and provides specialty medical referrals and follow-up for patients as needed. Clinical supervision is provided by the Global Occupational Health Manager (e.g. medical record reviews and review / signature for prescriptions if required).
- Performs clinic administration and staff supervision duties. Assists in budget planning and monitoring the clinic budget on a regular basis. Participates on clinic process improvement teams and implements clinic processes. Maintains accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the medical record; reviews clinical data for accuracy and completeness.
- Acts as a Global Health and Medical liaison with other domestic and international medical clinics. Maintains and communicates expertise on health risk conditions and specific country requirements to domestic and international staff. Coordinates clinic marketing activities by conducting open houses and participating in health fairs.
- When requested, provides professional support on special projects and other activities as assigned by the Global Occupational Health Manager.
- Occasional travel within North America is estimated at less than 5 percent of the job (If travel is required, it will be known weeks or months in advance for conferences or business planning meetings).
Required Qualifications:

What you will do:
• Study users to deeply understand their SSNiFs (stakeholders, situations, needs leading to the right features)
• Work with product managers to understand the business requirements and help sculpt the product vision
