Instrumentation Controls Engineer

The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (I&C Engineer) will report to the Director of Process Engineering and Controls. The Instrumentation & Controls engineer will support the development and consistent implementation of engineering and construction standards in the design of well site facilities, pipelines, major central facilities (e.g. centralized compression, dehydration facilities, and H2S Treating facilities) through gathering trunklines to central delivery points (gas and liquids). The I&C Engineer will collaborate with representatives of other departments and disciplines to help execute projects from conception to closure. Along with new facilities, the I&C will provide the needed support to the existing assets. This support can range from small projects, Corrective Maintenance suggestions, to the development of Preventative Maintenance plans.

Gas Turbine Operator
NYPA; Holtsville, NY
In this position incumbent will work a rotating day/night shift schedule to provide safe, reliable and efficient operation of a 150 MW combined cycle power plant, utilizing a Siemens V84.2 gas turbine and a 50 MW simple cycle power plant utilizing a GE LM6000 gas turbine. Incumbent will plan and execute minor maintenance tasks while on shift. Incumbent will be required to perform all plant chemistry functions for the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), the denitrification system and the cooling tower. Incumbent will perform switching and grounding throughout the plant including the high voltage switchyard. Incumbent will process work orders, material requests and timekeeping in the work management system. Incumbent will understand and comply with requisite environmental, safety and market regulations.
