Lease Analyst

Job Description: 

  • Independently analyze and interpret applicable Petroleum Contracts (PC) to calculate accurately and provide timely set-ups, payments, and obligations.
  • Independently maintain records to ensure payments made to private, corporate, and government owners are in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and PC.
  • At any one time, support a number of PC opportunities across the full EP lifecycle with knowledge of ownership laws, statutes, regulations and applicable systems.
  • Independently internally interface with the Technical Asset/Organization and other functional departments regarding PC services. Externally interface with owners and/or government(s) regarding PC issues/matters.
  • Generate standard monthly/periodic reports on payment and/or acreage information requested by technical teams and/or land operations to be used for analysis and decision making. Assist in producing ad-hoc reports.
  • Support due diligence activities related to oil & gas property acquisition, divestiture, and merger.

Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Four-year degree with major in Law, Petroleum Management, Business Administration or other Business related degrees is preferred
  • Minimum of three (3+) years professional experience in Land Administration.
  • Knowledge of applicable EP Federal/State oil/gas laws, statutes, and regulations.
  • Experience with EP property sales and acquisitions, due diligence, and transition planning.
  • Knowledge of EP – Operations, Midstream, Marketing, Joint Ventures, Accounting, Treasury, and Systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to cultivate internal and external professional relationships.
  • Ability to lead a project team to obtain expected business results within competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to self-start and direct own efforts based on high-level business objectives and guidance as necessary.

Oracle Database Administrator 

ConocoPhillips; Bartlesville, OK, US 

Description:

This position is for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator. The position is part of Database Operations within Data, Applications & Integration Services. Database Operations provides database administration across the ConocoPhillips global enterprise.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Administrative and technical support of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c
  • Operational support of Real Application Clusters (RAC) running on Oracle Database Appliances (ODA)
  • Providing Oracle 10g/11g/12c database administration, database security and production support, primarily in a UNIX environment
  • Installation and maintenance of Oracle databases
  • Planning and execution of database backup and recovery
  • Providing database diagnosis and tuning for performance and stability
  • Managing physical database design and implementation, database security implementation and monitoring
  • Using ConocoPhillips change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages

Desired Skills/Basic/Required:

Travel Manager 

New York Power Authority; White Plains, NY, US 

Job Description: 

The Travel Manager provides overall direction and control of the Authority’s travel services program, which supports all travel expenditures amounting to more than $6M annually.  The program’s objective is to ensure efficient, safe and convenient services for the employee and cost-effective travel expenditures for the Authority.  The incumbent supervises two Travel Coordinators who provide all the Authority’s arrangements for business travel at an ARC-approved Corporate Travel Desk (CTD) known as Power Business Travel.  The incumbent ensures that the scheduling of the corporate aircraft is safe, timely and cost-effective and that all activities of the Travel Desk are in full compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of airline, hotel and government negotiations is required.
  • Profiency in Sabre and TRAMS back office system is also required.
  • Ability to review scheduling, set priorities, resolve disputes, monitor work, coordinate staff assignments, conduct performance reviews and make decisions

  • Maintain ARC (Airline Reporting Corp) certification for the Corporate Travel Desk and ensure ARC policy compliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate TRAMS back office reporting through the Sabre GDS system for management review of cost savings, expenditures and compliance.
  • Maintain Power Business Travel’s relationship and involvement with ARC, SGTP, ASTA and NBTA.
  • Responsible for implementing the Travel Policy through direction of Power Business Travel (The Authority’s Corporate Travel Desk) which serves all the sites and headquarters employees with expenditures of $6 million annually.
  • Review all itineraries and all tickets over $1,000.00
  • Effectively address concerns regarding the annual budget to minimize cost and maximize value to the Authority. Provide cost effective services by utilizing discounts and preferred vendors. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the NYS Government city-pair fares and federal per-diem hotel contracts. Track spending at frequently used hotels to negotiate extra savings in key cities (Buffalo, Albany, NYC).
  • Responsible for ensuring that major corporate events and meetings are booked in an efficient manner, providing the best options for Authority personnel while being cost effective.
  • Responsible for overseeing that the scheduling and dispatching of the Corporate Aircraft is efficient, timely and safe for the over 4,000 passenger trips annually. Provide open communication with NYSP for coordination of corporate aircraft usage.
  • Facilitate security and immigration information and documentation for business travelers i.e. Visas, CLEAR pass, Nexus, Canapass, and TSA Secure Data.
  • Ensure the accurate IAR Interactive reporting through the internet to the Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) each week.
  • Support Travel Coordinator function, as necessary for all reporting requirements
  • Maintain travel invoices, itineraries and ticket receipts, as required by NYPA Travel policy.
  • Perform any travel function as necessary to support other travel coordinators.
  • Undertake special projects and analyses as required.
  • Provide specialized reports as necessary
  • Negotiate travel contracts and rates for hotels, rental cars, car service, airport parking, and new city pair airline rates as required.
  • In cooperation with Procurement, assist with event planning and rate negotiation for overnight rooms, conference rooms, catering etc. in support of NYPA business meetings.
  • Maintain currency and ensure compliance with NY State and travel industry requirements, in addition to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all trends, developments, products and services
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping in back office travel accounting and reporting system including recognition and reconciliation of commissions, credits and travel earnings based on business travel volumes.
  • Represent NYPA with the State Travel Managers Association and Government Airline Directors.
  • Maintain certification and status for the Travel Desk to operate as a CTD and participate in the Airline Reporting Corporation
  • Manage employees including performance management, salary administration, succession planning and workload balancing. Identify and recommend solutions to modify staff to meet NYPA needs.

Required Experience:

  • A 2-year undergraduate degree.
  • Experience working in a travel service operation for at least 10 years is required.
  • At least 5 years supervisory experience with the ability to review scheduling, set priorities, resolve disputes, monitor work, coordinate staff assignments, conduct performance reviews and make decisions.
  • Experience working with Government (Federal and State agencies) Travel professionals is preferred.
  • ARC certification is preferred, but not required.
