Senior Inspector Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Inspector Engineer to join the Central Region Distribution Dept (CRDD), Saudi Arabia. The CRDD is responsible for handling and distributing refined hydrocarbon products within the Central Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Refined products are received from the Refinery to Tank Farm (Storage Tanks) through pipelines, then transferred to other locations by pipelines and trucks or transferred to a bulk plant for sales.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the oil or similar process industry including at least four years as Saudi Aramco Inspector Engineering, or six years of direct inspection experience.It is critical be able to demonstrate thorough working knowledge of the applicable Saudi Aramco Standards. Also, to be certified for API 570 and 653 with good experience in welding inspection and engineering experience in reviewing design packages.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide engineering inspection support for all Central Region Distribution Department plants mechanical equipment, tanks, and piping to meet the company standards and procedures and have the technical background to review the design packages to insure system integrity.

The primary function of the job is to provide full engineering inspection support in terms of initiating and conducting specialized studies for improving facilities of operation. Provide specialized technical service in the Mechanical Engineering field, acting as a consultant on complex Mechanical problems such as designs and/or projects execution.

Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer 

Shell; Geismar, LA, US 

Job Description: 

Responsibilities:
The Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer is a team member of the Shell Geismar Manufacturing Site’s Engineering Department. The incumbent reports to the Mechanical Equipment Technical Team Lead. The deliverables of this dynamic job role is to provide technical assurance to the rotating equipment assets and typically will be assigned to an operating moduel. This is an individual contributor role that exercises the work processes well to deliver results. Safe, Reliable & Efficient asset operations, inspections & management that include proactive & predictive condition MET Engineer delivers technical assurance for the machinery assets of the business. This assurance is necessary for the safe, reliable operations and management of these asset types. The MET Engineer accomplishes this deliverable by exercising key work processes of the business, hence is a work process performer. The ability to learn, exercise and improve the work processes is an enabler to deliver high value in this job role. The incumbent is expected to engage with a broad spectrum of stake holders and is part of the overall Shell Group Rotating Equipment Discipline.

Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years related experience working in the petrochemical industry with strong machinery background required.
  • Strong machinery, troubleshooting, and run & maintain experience required.
