The LED light bulbs came into the market as an energy-efficient alternative to the traditional incandescent light bulb.

The full name for these alternatives bulbs is “light-emitting diode,” named as such because it emits low-intensity ultra-red or ultra-violet light. These bulbs waste less energy in heat than the traditional bulb, making them a cool alternative.
