Chemicals Product Steward 

Shell; Singapore 

Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Business Product Steward is to enable the business within their areas of Accountability to meet their business targets by ensuring compliance with legal, customer, stakeholder, company and societal requirements within their portfolio throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Steward also looks for ways to add value beyond regulatory compliance by employing innovative approaches to product stewardship as a competitive advantage for the business. The Product Steward provides Product Stewardship support for a particular product or product group, requiring knowledge of uses and product composition, and of risks throughout the product supply chain or product lifecycle. To work collaboratively with others in the Product Stewardship FDG and HSSE network to provide professional advice, support and assistance on all Product HSSE matters to the Product Lines. Represents business in cross business Product Stewardship forums. Performs activities in support of Responsible Care and other external commitments.

  • To work closely with business Teams to deliver the strategic Product Stewardship objectives and targets in support of business strategy.
  • Support in the development and implementation of Product Stewardship action plans including target setting and monitoring of key performance indicators.
  • Support the Business process teams in ensuring that their activities comply with local products HSSE regulations, Chemicals & Group policies & standards.
  • Support Product Line product stewardship plans and guidance for external customers.
  • Effectively interpret new legislation and emerging issues to assist in the development of realistic risk abatement and issues and advocacy management strategies.
  • Support in the implementation, monitoring and review of the Product Stewardship sections of the HSSE Management Systems.
  • Provide specialist Product Stewardship advice; support in organising Product Stewardship training, Product Stewardship customer visits, competence assessment and development, product HSSE incident follow up, maintaining relationships with local/group/external HSSE specialists, regulatory bodies and authorities.
  • Work closely with other support functions including Shell Health, customer support, logistics, to ensure Product Stewardship issues, concerns are addressed.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the product core data within the SAP PSP system and maintain key HSSE product information
  • Support the e-business strategy as it relates to Product Stewardship.
  • Represent the business on Product Stewardship industry associations’ activities as determined by the strategic needs of the business.
  • Support the Product Stewardship network in ensuring alignment across Products Lines, sharing of learnings and of best practices.

Requirement:

  • University degree with qualifications in engineering or science (eg. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene). MS, MBA, PhD a plus
  • Knowledge of Product Support (Fuels or Bitumen or Chemicals or Lubricant products.
  • At least 5 years HSSE, technical or commercial experience in the business
  • Issue management including negotiating, networking and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of Risk Management techniques especially product handling
  • Development of HSSE management systems.
  • Experience with Product Stewardship and Responsible Care initiatives
  • Knowledge of legislation affecting Chemical supply, marketing, product handling and user labeling

Sr. Commercial Development Rep 

Anadarko Petroleum; The Woodlands, TX, US 

Job Summary

This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas office and will provide support to the Southern & Appalachia Midstream team. Anadarko is seeking someone who will be responsible for midstream business efficiency and profitability. Implements new business strategies and methods to optimize midstream assets. Interfaces with midstream operators and teams to coordinate delivery and transfer of products, or ensure execution of contract terms established by marketing teams. Monitors contracts and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provides research support to teams developing business strategies. Monitors gathering, treating, transportation and marketing contracts for midstream operations. Drafts and updates contracts according to negotiated terms. Collects documentation associated with transactions completed by marketing teams and distribution companies, gas pipelines, industrial customers and co generators. Evaluates requests to install and purchase new equipment, enhancements, or renovation of assets.

 Qualifications

•8+ years of experience.

•Strong understanding and knowledge of the gas gathering and processing business management and operations.

•Working knowledge of Oil & Gas contract negotiations, commercial planning & development, midstream accounting and product marketing.

•Economic modeling and creative financial evaluation skills required.

•Must possess excellent teamwork skills and negotiation skills, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

•Able to manage multiple high level projects involving a variety of assets and commercial and operational challenges.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

•Requires the ability to interact with and lead teams from other work groups such as E&P asset teams, accounting, gas control, marketing and field operations.

As a Principal Software Engineer on the SAP Social team in South San Francisco, you will be on one of the teams that develop SAP Jam, SAP’s social business collaboration cloud solution with over 12 million users and many large corporate customers. The successful applicant will:
