Americas Marketing Qualification Team Lead 

Chevron; San Ramon, CA, US

Position Overview: 

The position reports to the manager of Chevron Lubricants Marketing & Sales Technology Center of Focus. Marketing and Sales Technology Center of Focus (COF) provides comprehensive support to Chevron Lubricants sales and marketing organizations globally. The Marketing and Sales Technology COF function is responsible for driving advancements in sales automation, marketing automation, analytics, and marketing qualification globally. Additionally, this Center Of Focus collaborates and influences cross-functional teams from sales, marketing, IT, etc. to drive optimization of processes, tools, and systems globally.

The, Americas Marketing Qualification Team Lead is accountable for defining the group’s annual goals and create the Marketing Qualification Team (MQT) campaign roadmap. The Team Lead will oversee analysis on the sales pipeline and customer segments to identify the highest priority areas for the team’s focus. The Team Lead is responsible for facilitating interactions with Brand Managers, Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment of priorities with broader initiatives and to highlight relevant dependencies and needs.

The Team Lead will manage a group of 3 Marketing Qualification Specialists who will be developing email campaigns and sending the messages to the target audience. This is a working manager role with responsibility to perform the same responsibilities for email marketing as the Marketing Qualification Team Specialist. The Team Lead oversee the engagement with MarComm to repurpose and create quick, fit for purpose digital content that can be used in email campaigns and on landing pages. The Team Lead is expected to influence the creation of new content by MarComm and agencies in response to campaign needs.

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Proven track record of leadership in delivering tangible value and results across organizational lines via an influence model organization.
  • Manage and allocate the Marketing Qualification Team (MQT) budget across campaigns and related activities. Detail team resources, responsibilities, deadlines, objectives and metrics.
  • Oversee the management and curation of content in the MSI (Marketo Sales Insight) content library, enabling use by Sales in one-on-one communications.
  • Support the team in selecting targets for email campaigns. Direct the definition of campaign objectives and help identify the purpose for each email interaction.
  • Writing and approving email copy.
  • Day to day use of Marketo for Campaign analysis.
  • Direct the structure of campaigns including the timing, delivery and order of each communication. Help the team identify relevant campaign triggers and outline the corresponding Sales response with feedback and input from Sales Champions.
  • Provide approval for campaigns and content prior to distribution.
  • Leads and/or supports projects by acting as project manager, team member, and/ or subject matter expert in areas focused on sales force effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or other related areas (Marketing, MIS or Business Administration).
  • Proven track record of leadership in delivering tangible value and results across complex organizations via the influence model.
    Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills.
  • Proven Project and People Leadership skills in Sales &/or Sales Enablement.
  • Working understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation tools with a bias towards Salesforce.com and Marketo.
  • Experience executing Email Marketing Campaigns.
  • Excellent communication capabilities using clear, concise language for an audience and across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Effective at managing multiple projects concurrently by utilizing excellent organization and planning skills as well as a being a self-starter.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or other Information Technology related disciplines.
  • Marketing Automation experience (processes and tools).
  • Experience interfacing with Sales teams and knowledge of the sales process.
  • Experience with B2B Marketing, Content Marketing and Sales processes.

Motiva Enterprises is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Discipline Engineering Group at the Convent Refinery in Convent, LA.

This Mechanical Engineer position sits with the Enhanced Problem Solving Team (EPST) and provides engineering design and technical support through problem solving, small project execution and threat identification, in support of the Enhanced Problem Solving Team. This also includes leadership of multi-discipline teams.

A day in the life of a Motiva Mechanical Engineer:

  • Leads or participates in causal investigations (Root Cause Failure Analysis).
  • Lead or participate in management of change reviews to ensure safe operation and design of equipment and related changes.
  • Supports development and implementation of Reliability and Margin improvement initiatives in the Production area.
  • Monitors Threat Database items, supports investigations and proactive studies, and drives implementation of solutions.
  • Leads the design and implementation of small projects related to HSE threats, reliability threats, margin improvement, compliance issues, and energy improvements
  • Provides engineering support.
  • Manages small projects during development, execution and commissioning, and ensures Operational / Maintenance input at all stages.
  • Designs equipment based on engineering standards and support installation of equipment associated with refinery process units.
  • Develops job packages for field execution.
  • Applies engineering technology to improve safety and environmental performance.
  • Participates in Turnaround scope development and reviews.
  • Network with other sites’ Maintenance Engineers and industry groups to develop and implement Best Practices.
  • Develops Project Initiation Forms and Investment Proposals as well as implements small projects, in the assigned area with support from other technical members.
  • Promotes working safely by participating in regular safety meetings, discussing job safety routinely with co-workers to identify improvement opportunities, and personally adhering to all requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Support the total design effort and participate in multiple projects, solve complex problems, and provide mentoring and support to more junior engineers.
• Evaluate and analyze software products and provide sales support.
• Define, develop, and manage the whole process of a integrating analytic components into products and engaging individuals across various departments or organizations to resolve problems
• Work jointly with clients to ensure business requirements are clearly communicated

Experience:
• 5 years of experience with enterprise programming in Java/J2EE, Enterprise Applications,  OOD, Oracle

• Knowledge of Web Services, WSDL, SOAP would be a plus
