The energy industry – oil & gas sector in particular – is bracing itself for a massive wave of retirements over the short to medium term, which has been dubbed “The Great Shift Change.” As the industry prepares for this turnover, companies are looking to the next generation of candidates with skills ranging from finance, geology, engineering, law, etc.

Sr Community Relations Representative – Rockies Region  

Anadarko; Denver, CO, US

Job Summary:

The Sr Community Relations Representative is located in Denver, CO and and will be a member of Anadarko’s Rockies Region reporting to the VP Operations.

Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and manage all efforts to successfully deliver company-sponsored charitable initiatives and fundraisers
    • Interact with Management and Employees to maximize Anadarko’s participation in the local community
    • Plan, participate and oversee volunteer activities throughout the region, ensuring volunteer presence within the community while assisting teams with team building goals
    • Design, coordinate, and manage educational outreach programs
    • Develop and maintain a supportive corporate relationship with local non-profit organizations
    • Work closely with management to identify interests for charitable giving and encourage involvement in the community
    • Engage and mentor young professional organizations in charitable and volunteer activities
    • Create unique partnerships that extend beyond simple financial support for charitable organizations

Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 8 years of relevant non-profit experience
    • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with community leaders
    • Familiarity with grant review processes, preferred
    • Management of a sizeable community or charitable focused budget
    • Strong relationships with non-profits, including leadership and/or board positions
    • Experience developing, managing and executing employee volunteer programs, a plus
    • Experience in developing partnerships with non-profit organizations that connects corporate philanthropy with employee passions
    • Ability to develop strategic plan for charitable contributions in support of operations plans or branding/marketing/public relations plans
    • Public relations and communications awareness
    • Must be able to work independently, be task-oriented and operate without day-to-day oversight

Education & Credentials: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or other related field required.
  • Travel Requirements
  • The percentage of domestic travel required for this position is 10% – 20%.

Commercial Operator, MOGAS 

Shell; Houston, TX, US

Job Description:

The role is accountable for the coordination of physical products movement including freight requirements in support of the Mogas trading team. This incumbent will work closely with Trading, Shipping, Supply, Manufacturing and other Shell/3rd party entities in support of flawless, timely execution of oil products movements. Scheduling activities will include a defined set of accounts/stake holders and obligations arising from the oil contracts / charter parties regarding marine domestic or international movements.

  • Schedule domestic physical pipeline, tank and marine movements with refineries, terminals and third party customers
  • Responsible for managing gasoline quality and quantity parameters to maximize profitability.
  • Work directly with traders to provide real time information for all gasoline movements and help identify opportunities to add commercial value.
  • Ensure all data requirements e.g. schedule updates, customs, claims/demurrage are accurate and recorded in Trading systems in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with other groups such as other Operations teams, Demurrage, Risk Control, Finance and other Shell Trading Teams to ensure data affecting profitability of cargos, pipeline, rail and truck barrels is flowing in a timely and correct manner.
  • Responsible for daily/monthly inventory updates/reconciliation for our terminals while adhering to end of month processes.
  • Cultivate/Manage relationships with key oil and freight counter-parties
  • Track movement parameters in support of look back support and adherence to Organizational legal and fiscal requirements
  • Coordinate with traders and other team members to develop creative logistical solutions to meet deal delivery requirements
  • Over time, provide relief coverage for team members

Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related work experience with trading, shipping or marine operations desired
  • Ability to multi-task with a detail oriented mindset is a must
  • Familiarity with trading back office systems/process desired
  • Knowledge of crude/refined products industry with experience in operations, deal structuring, back office, trade book recon, or other related activities desired
  • The successful candidate will be able to work independently within a dynamic, fast paced and business critical trading environment.
  • They must be highly motivated and possess strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills in order to recognize and solve problems quickly.
  • Highly effective planning and organization skills are essential in order to meet the departments demanding schedules and goals.
  • The candidate must be resilient under pressure. As this is an operational role, the candidate will be on call 24/7.

Principal Security Engineer – Ariba Job 

Job Description:
The Cloud Operations team is responsible for delivering $170B annual business commerce to 630K Ariba global enterprise customers and suppliers 24×7.  You will be a key member of the Cloud Operations team working to ensure infrastructure security is robust, safe and secure.

Responsibilities:
*Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services
*Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
*Create and implement projects on security for system designs for network, applications, servers etc.
*Leader in security compliance efforts, PCI DSS, SOX etc.
*Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies
*Provide technical analysis and recommendations for threats andvulnerabilities
*Audit our production infrastructure, identify and triage security problems within the production environment
*Automate security vulnerability checks.
*Solid understanding of security practices, mitigation implementations and security engineering
*Solid understanding of web protocols such as HTTP, SSL/TLS etc.
*Good understanding of cryptography, PKI and TLS.
*Experience with malware, antivirus detection and prevention, and group password policy enforcement (AD/LDAP)

Minimum Qualifications:
