The energy industry – oil & gas sector in particular – is bracing itself for a massive wave of retirements over the short to medium term, which has been dubbed “The Great Shift Change.” As the industry prepares for this turnover, companies are looking to the next generation of candidates with skills ranging from finance, geology, engineering, law, etc.

Additionally, lots of exciting opportunities are opening up in various renewable energy sectors as technological advancements rapidly disrupt traditional utility business models. HR Analyst – Benefits

Job Description: 

This full-time position is located in The Woodlands, Texas and is part of the Benefits Group within HR.

Qualifications:

    • Two (2) or more years of relevant benefits experience with an understanding of Defined Contribution plan administration

 

    • Understanding of benefit plan compliance and the ability to research benefit plan issues

 

    • Strong organization and computer skills

 

    • Strong verbal and written skills

 

    • Ability to interact effectively with employees, colleagues and vendor contacts

 

    • Familiarity with SAP HR and Fidelity PSW is preferred

 

  • Flexible work aptitude and a willingness to take on new tasks as needed

 

Responsibilities:

    • Provide daily administration for qualified and non-qualified Plans which includes determining and requesting contribution and distribution funding for Plans, reviewing vendor feedback files and requesting payroll adjustments as required

 

    • Coordinate semi-annual enrollment window for the Deferred Compensation Plan

 

    • Prepare required documents for annual employee benefit plan audit

 

    • Coordinate annual Non-Discrimination Testing

 

    • Produce required Plan reports for Payroll, Treasury, Compensation and Accounting

 

    • Work with stakeholders on various projects and employee matters

 

  • Assist with other departmental tasks as required

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Specialist 

Chevron; San Ramon, CA, US

Job Description: 

 

  • Supports the development of End User Capabilities through the deployment of AEM across the Americas.
  • Provides Level 1 and Level 2 Support to AEM End Users.
  • Interacts with End Users clients to create end-to-end specifications for content, commerce and collaboration solution.
  • Translates End User requirements into technical designs.
  • Supports the development and use of workflows. Experience establishing permissions in support of workflows.
  • Collect and share best practices for AEM usage across the region.
  • Design and implement customer engagement strategies to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments.
  • Develop digital consumer experiences based on the foundation of the Adobe AEM/CQ product suite, including CQ, CRX/CRXDE, WCM, EDAM, Analytics, & A/B/Multi-Variant Testing.
  • Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the AEM/CQ core platform.
  • Define implementation processes, quality gates and standard.
  • Define best practices to manage performance and scalability of the content management and content delivery solution.
  • Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills.
  • Overall 5-7 years’ experience with 2-3 years working with web content management systems, including one or more CMS packages such as Adobe AEM/CQ (version 5.5+).
  • Relevant experience in HTML, REST, SOAP, XML/RPC, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Mastery of all core web technologies including XML, XHTML, client/server-side scripting languages such as Javascript, and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementations.
  • Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries and JSTL skills, combined with a solid understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experience implementing, enhancing and troubleshooting Adobe AEM installations.
  • Experience Training End Users on use of Adobe AEM.
  • Experience Troubleshooting End User AEM Issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of setup and configuration of the Adobe AEM CMS product.
  • Proficient in Adobe CQ foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the CQ platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix.
  • A solid understanding of all Adobe CQ building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the CQ development and deployment process.
  • Hands on experience in developing Templates.
  • Good understanding of utilizing AEM platform to filter, process and output html, json, xml.
  • Good understanding and practical experience of integrating with one or more marketing tools such as Marketo, Salesforce.com, Pardot, Campaign, or others.
  • Good understanding and practical experience of integrating with AEM with LDAP, 3rd party systems such as Epsilon, Hubris, Translations.com
  • Good understanding and experience using Personalization, Social and communities, MSM and Mobile AEM modules.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management, content publishing/deployment, and delivery processes.

Infrastructure Architect Job

The Opportunity

Be part of Ariba’s core Architecture group and work with the operations team in bringing the “Ariba Commerce Cloud” to the next level.  The Operations team is responsible for delivering $600B annual business commerce to thousands of Ariba global enterprise customers and suppliers 24×7.  You will be a key member of the Architecture team working closely with multiple applications and the platform team to help transform Ariba’s cutting edge collaborative business commerce operation to 99.99% availability and elastic scalability based on state of the art deployment and hosting architecture. This is an individual contributor hands-on position.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
  • 10 plus years of in-depth experience in operating business critical hosting operations
  • Experience with core computer networking technologies including: TCP/IP, load balancing principals, firewalls, Linux operating system and Containers.
  • Demonstrated experience in:

o   Planning and implementing critical infrastructure changes and cutovers

o   Leading to resolution critical faults that are difficult to isolate

o   Designing and implementing highly available system architectures

o   Designing, and implementation of IaaS & PaaS solutions and/or Application modernization, migration and development on PaaS platforms.

o   Developing deployment architecture based on open standards e.g., Docker, SaltStack, or Puppet etc.

  • Strong experience in software development, including languages, and frameworks such as Java, Perl, Groovy, RDBMS, NoSQL and Hadoop.
  • Desirable experience with PaaS offerings such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, or similar.
