Regional Sales Manager (Field Based Account Manager)

Job Description: 

This role is an important part of the US Commercial Fleet Card Team and requires strong sales and business development skills. We are seeking high energy individuals that adapt quickly to a changing environment and perform well in the face of adversity. This position covers several mid-western states.

The successful candidate must have exceptional prospecting and time management skills with both a strategic and tactical mindset in developing and managing a large territory portfolio, before and after the sale. The successful candidate will be a true sales professional – enthusiastic, proactive, a self-starter, with a demonstrated track record and enthusiasm for selling.

Accountabilities:

  • IDENTIFY, RESEARCH, CONTACT, NEGOTIATE and CLOSE companies with medium and large fleets.
  • Cultivate true partnerships with customers based on a clear understanding of Shell’s Commercial Fleet range of CVPs, and fully understand customer needs in order to deliver maximum value for both Shell and the customer.
  • Carry out financial negotiations with customers, preparing quotations and proposals and reach agreement on all operational requirements (including: price, contract, payment terms and services).
  • Plan for, monitor and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Consistently apply Sales 1st standards to demonstrate best-in-class structure for call plans, calendar management, account plans and use of CRM tools to maximize customer facing time (6+ visits per week)
  • Safety (Shell HSSE) mindset: proactive contribution to the HSSE journey, including leveraging Shell leadership in HSSE for commercial advantage.
  • Aggressively manage value growth, with a deep understanding of value generation and financial dimensions (value drivers, P&L impact of integrated offers, cash, ERR and cash impact of business deals).

  Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum five (5) years sales experience.
  • Must be willing to relocate in assigned territory (relocation assistance is provided).
  • Large market fleet card sales experience is a must.
  • Proven ability to sell B2B prospects through a wide range of Customer Value Propositions (CVP) and possess the ability to select and pursue the ones that are best fit opportunities.
  • Demonstrated record of competence in prospecting, presenting, negotiating, closing and developing large market companies.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer operations and financials.
  • Proven financial acumen including knowledge of P&L, cash, ROACE, ERR and capability to structure deals that maximize value for both parties.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM programs.

Application Support Analyst

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:  

 

  • Triages support tickets for all Enterprise Content Management Tools
  • Manages level 2 incident cases to completion using Remedy tool while operating within SLA
  • Resolves or Research and provides workarounds on Level 2 issues
  • Follows best practices, operational excellence objectives for overall application reliability, security, availability, responsiveness and effectiveness.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Working with product marketing, product development, strategy teams and partners, CRM Outbound Product Management will drive field roll-out and business development of SAP’s Customer Engagement (CRM) solutions portfolio to drive new product adoption and build sustainable pipeline enabling Field Sales to execute more effectively.

With this, the CRM Outbound Product Management team will form a crucial link between Product Development and “Innovation” customers ensuring new market opportunities are harnessed and nurtured at source.

The team is looking for an experienced Solution Expert who will help execute the mission above.
