Application Developer – Integration 

Chevron; Makati, Philippines

Overview: 

Downstream and Chemicals IT – Operations, Technical Standards team is looking for an application developer focused on delivering application and data integration solutions.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:  

 

  • Design, develop and support multiple integration solutions throughout the organization.
  • Ensure that the technical solution fits within standards adopted by the organization.
  • Work with the integration architect to define, adapt and maintain those standards for legacy and new integration solutions.
  • On the Technical Standards team in DS&C IT Operations, this Integration Developer is typically involved in projects and enhancements that need to connect key systems into our infrastructure.
  • The Technical Analyst in this role will either have or become knowledgeable in webMethods components like Designer, CentraSite, Mediator, BPM, MFT, MWS, OneData, OFI, JDBC adapter, SAP adapter and CloudStreams adapter.
  • Some Technical Analyst work would also fall to this role.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Management Information Systems or Information Technology domain.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with webMethods (9.x or later) or relative aptitude
    Knowledge on EDI, XML, SAP IDOC’s, and Flat Files.
  • Understanding on the following technologies: Databases, UNIX, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, Digital Certificates is a plus
  • Experience with master data management (MDM) platforms and concepts preferred.
  • Experience with cloud integration software
  • Understanding of technology within retail/manufacturing industry (e-commerce, supply chain, and logistics systems) preferred.
  • Experience with ETL tools a plus (SSIS, Datastage).
  • Ability to work with a team toward a common goal, staying aligned with agreed strategies, priorities and processes to deliver results. Ability to adapt to and accommodate changing needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with management , peers and customers across disciplines and geographies. Proven ability to remain focused upon agreed deadlines and deliverables while handling conflicting requirements. Ability to articulate the vision of the integration program and the business and IT value it brings.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work activities with across multiple teams and be successful at meeting deadlines and keeping projects on time. Work coordination in this space will often require managing tasks that span support groups, end users and vendors resources.

Job Description: 

Junior Exploration Geoscientist, supporting the delivery of the SDB-operated and non-operated exploration programme. In the role the Junior Exploration Geoscientist is tasked to support:

  • the delivery of exploration activities and evaluation projects including seismic acquisition, seismic processing and prospect evaluation
  • integration with regional and sub-regional PBE evaluations, facies interpretation, hydrocarbon charge interpretation
  • integration of petrophysical analysis of rock and fluid properties and trends into the assessment
  • delivery of well proposals and well operations
  • work program & budget as well as venture plan submittals

The Junior Exploration Geoscientist needs to be aware of and utilize existing and developing technologies. The position also involves stakeholder relationships with NOC’s, regulators, governments, contractors and competitors in the region.
All activities by our Geoscientists should be done with full HSSE compliance to ensure that all work is completed with no impact on people or the environment and with a strong focus on NTR.

  • Advanced Degree in Geoscience required (masters or higher) or equivalent with 3 years of related working experience.

IT Technology Consultant – Systems Support & Security Specialist Job

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As IT Technology Consultant – Linux & Server Security Specialist, you are responsible for:

  • Providing Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems support
  • Managing the SSL certificate landscapes
  • SQL server support , proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Directs and monitors the timely response to all user assistance and problem determination requests on security-related problems.
  • Supports infrastructure and information security projects, compliance efforts,
  • Documenting solution configurations, operating run books, and training manuals
  • Training operations staff on the day to day operational support activities related to the of the server monitoring solutions
  • Strong Linux (Redhat/Suse) and/or Windows knowledge, able to solve complex server and operating system related issues.  Provide ongoing server administration support as required.
  • Experience with mission critical, clustered server configurations
  • Capacity and performance management, short and long-term capacity planning in collaboration with system administrators and system architects

  • Identifying opportunities to optimize operations and consolidation of services

  • Experience troubleshooting complex problems, performance analysis and tuning
  • Experience in a 24×7 production environment. Able to work in a global distributed team environment.
  • Experience in project delivery, process consultancy and financial analytics.
  • Experience with Vendor and Service Level Agreement management
