#LabsRoadShow Stop Two - Lab Contributions

Last month you had the chance to meet the National Labs. Now it’s time to find out what makes them so important.

Join us for Stop Two of the National Labs Road Show, a virtual journey to meet the people, places and extraordinary science of the Department of Energy’s National Laboratories.

This time we’re focusing on some of the most notable contributions the Labs have made to science, energy and national security. There’s a good chance many of them will come as a surprise. (Did you know the Labs mapped the human genome?) Stay tuned on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Google + throughout the week to learn more.

To cap it all off, you’ll have a chance to hear directly from Lab particle physicists on Friday during a Facebook Q&A, titled“Everything You Wanted to Know About Particle Physics.” You’ll find out how the Labs are contributing to the global effort to better understand our universe. Join us at 1 p.m. ET on the Energy.gov Facebook page.
