SAP FICO Analyst – SAP Acctg & Finance Systems 

Anadarko; The Woodlands, TX, US

Job Summary:
This position is located in Anadarko’s Woodland’s corporate office as a member of the Enterprise Services & Systems department. This is a mid-senior level position within the SAP Accounting & Finance Systems team with a focus on supporting SAP FI/CO/GL. As the FI resource, this position will be responsible for working directly with business customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues as well as assisting with identifying, prioritizing and delivering system and process enhancements. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees and departments across Anadarko and in different time zones. A flexible and positive work attitude and the ability to produce results under tight deadlines is a must in order to manage changing priorities.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Minimum 2 years’ SAP IS Oil FICO, ECC 6, EhP5 or higher, SAP New GL experience preferred
  • Worked on 2 or more project life cycle implementations
  • Working knowledge of integration with other SAP modules
  • Working knowledge in Joint Venture Accounting, Banking, and FSCM preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to work with internal business partners to understand & define business requirements, manage expectations & implement solutions that meet business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Participate as part of the Accounting and Finance team supporting SAP IS Oil modules with a concentration on FI and CO (domestic & international).
  • Create and maintain business process documentation, requirements specifications, test scripts and training materials.
  • Perform analysis of business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in designing, documenting and testing improvements to SAP and to interfaces between SAP and other applications.
  • Participate in testing activities by creating test plans, writing and performing test scripts; reviewing testing outcome with the business & obtaining appropriate business sign-off on new & upgraded functionality.
  • Provide second level support as required. Engage appropriate ESS & Anadarko outside experts, if necessary, to resolve issues.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting with a focus in Management Information Systems or

Bachelor Degree in Business with concentration in Computer Science/ Management Information Systems

Job Description: 

Saudi Aramco’s Project Management Organization offers experienced Scheduling Engineers the opportunity to be involved with the design and construction of multi-billion dollar mega projects. Our recent mega projects include: Shaybah NGL Program, King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center, Wasit Gas Program, Manifa Gas Program, Karan Program and the Ras Tanura Refinery Expansion Project. Project Management manages and executes projects from multiple offices geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Aramco Scheduling Engineers are responsible project controls activity focused mainly in planning and scheduling.

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering is required
  • Experience
    • Depth: Minimum of 8 years of scheduling and planning experience
    • Full Project life cycle experience
    • Project experience related to: petrochemicals, refining, pipelines, infrastructure or power generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning and scheduling support required in the execution of major capital projects in the Company’s Capital Program.
  • Develop Project WBS (work breakdown structure) using the latest project planning and scheduling tools, eg Primavera.

QA Engineer Job

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and contribute towards various testing efforts like Functional, Security, Accessibility, Integration, Internationalization, Localization, Single user Performance and Cross browser & Cross Platform testing.

• Creation and execution of manual test cases for functional, regression and end-to-end testing, including both back-end and front-end testing of entire system, subsystems and interfaces to other systems.

• As part of the Agile SCRUM team, work closely with local and global software development and QA teams.

• Participate in Functional & Technical requirements discussions with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects and User Experience teams.

• Test Case Management and Defect Management using tools.

• Create traceability and requirements coverage matrices to ensure the quality of the features under test.

• Create valid estimates regarding effort for tasks, communicate these estimates and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

• Working closely with the Build, Release Engineering and Operations team to get the code build deployed to the QA environments.

Requirements:

• Experience with Agile methodologies like SCRUM or KANBAN.

• Solid experience with Continuous Integration testing is a big plus.

• Familiarity with tools like – Selenium, JIRA, TestLink, VersionOne, SVN, JAWS, SoapUI and ANT is a plus.

• Geek factor, Knowledge XML, HTML, comfortable with API, web services, knowledge of how the platforms that comprise a SaaS are put together.

• Knowledge of CSS, or JavaScript is a plus

• Experience with SQL and related RDMS concepts with ability to understand data models.

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix, MAC OS.

• Experience with testing on Mobile devices is a big plus.

• Knowledge and experience with multi-tiered systems, including working knowledge of web/application servers.
