ITS Manager – Land Systems 

Anadarko; The Woodlands, TX, US

Summary: 

This position is located at Anadarko’s corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas, as part of Global Business Systems, within the Business & Information Technology department. As Land Systems Manager, this position is responsible for working directly with business customers to identify, prioritize and deliver Land systems. The incumbent will be responsible for the quality and performance of current systems and for working with business customers to enhance data, reporting, interfaces, processes and technology capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate will have minimum of nine (9) years’ professional work experience. Additional specific qualifications include:

  • Proven ability to build business relationships that ensure alignment of business objectives with system and data capabilities.
  • Extensive experience working with Land systems, data and processes.
  • Experience managing a technical team or a team of analysts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing workload to complete multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively
  • Strong project management and leadership skills including the ability to plan, organize, and control activities
  • Ability to identify resources needed to successfully meet requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Land systems, preferably with Quorum’s Upstream applications
  • Experience working in the Oil and Gas industry

Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for managing the business relationship and delivery of systems capabilities, providing leadership, guidance, resource planning, and performance evaluation to a team of analysts. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with the Land department to understand business requirements and priorities.
  • Develop solutions to ensure Land customers have the functionality, performance, information and support required to operate successfully.
  • Ensure that people data is effectively managed and deployed within extended business areas.
  • Lead a team that owns and excels in delivering solutions to Land customers.
  • Manage the Land workload and ensure that resourcing, schedules and budgets are met.
  • Work collaboratively across the IT organization to ensure that Land systems are applied consistently and leverage common infrastructure, process and data.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Management Information Systems

Material Scheduler 

Shell; Port Dickson, Malaysia

Job Description: 

The purpose of the Material Scheduler role is to develop the procurement plan across the entire planning horizon for the allocated portfolio (components, locations) to ensure that the right material is available at each location within the region/cluster in order to meet production needs. This role is key to identifying and maintaining the tactical parameters for replenishment planning to ensure efficient and effective sourcing and replenishment of materials.

Desired Skills: 

This role mainly focused on scheduling of packaging material:

  • Review of Inventory targets and planning data: The Materials Supply Scheduler (MSS) is the operationally accountable person that ensures for the supply portfolio all replenishment planning parameters are understood, reviewed and maintained. MSS owns the setting of the stocking strategy and relevant safety stocks for the materials and locations in the supply portfolio.MSS periodically maintains the Prices in the Purchase Info Records for the portfolio.
  • Ownership and management of inventory: The MSS will monitor and respond to inventory levels for the full planning horizon against targets defined (e.g. inventory days cover) for the supply portfolio, including at vendor locations. MSS continuously improves inventory holding (including warehouse capacity consumption) of materials and derived customer service (e.g. OTIF and PSA). The MSS is accountable for identifying and eliminating waste (e.g, preventing excess stock, identifying slow moving and potential obsolete components) for their supply portfolio.
  • Prearation of operational plans and management of supply issues: The MSS ensures appropriate replenishment plans for the entire horizon are generated for each component location in their supply portfolio ready for scheduling and execution. He/she Identifies supply issues via alert identification, and manages resolution appropriately.Operational Scheduling and ordering: The MSS will monitor,manage and action the different stages of the Purchase order including overdue PO. Issues the CAR and SCAR forms and monitors Vendor resolution and compliance thereof.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Mangement: The MSS engages regularly with plant production schedulers and planners to communicate operational issues and the impacts of these on the production/supply plan. Interacts with MSC/PLM coordinators to understand portfolio changes that impact their supply portfolio and to provide accurate and timely information on inventory to enable a smooth NPI and Withdrawal process.
  • Performance review and management: The MSS owns and is responsible for meeting the targets on Supplier OTIF for their supply portfolio (and analysing of root causes for missed targets with support from Material coordinators and planners).MSS provides input to Regional Supplier Review meetings (e.g. CAR status).
  • Master Data :The MSS owns Masterdata and must understand how master data impacts supply chain performance and links to other processes and functions and he/she must addresses error log reports frequently.
  • Invoice Verification:The MSS must take timeous corrective action in the Purchase Order and in the Purchase Info Record to clear invoice, price and/or quantity blocks triggered by workflows.

Quality Engineer

As a Software Engineer (in Test), you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of Ariba products. You will be responsible for creating, enhancing and enforcing good engineering practices, and evaluating product quality for various Ariba products. Your primary responsibility as a Senior Software Engineer will be to work with the development and test engineering teams to build innovative automation systems, automate testing, and build automation tools to replicate production like load. These test systems explore and validate the functional correctness, performance capabilities, and resource usage of our product and its various integration points within and outside Ariba’s Ecosystem.  One of your major responsibilities will be testing Right-to-Left language support in the Ariba product suite.

Education: 

  • BS in Computer Science or similar field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation experience.

Expectations: 

  • Experience using Bug Tracking, Test case repository and Version Control Systems
  • Excellent coding skill in Java
  • Experience testing software that supports multiple languages, including Right to Left languages
  • Proven experience in building and enhancing automation tools
  • Must have hands on experience with at least one scripting language ex. Java Script
  • Experience with at least one UI Automation tool ex. Selenium
  • Good Database concepts and hands on experience with PL/SQL
  • Proficient in a Unix/Linux environment.
