Sr ITS Integration Developer 

Anadarko; The Woodlands, TX, US

Summary

This position is located at Anadarko’s corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas, as part of the Development and Integration Services Team within the Global Business Systems department. As an Integration Developer, this position is responsible for design, delivery, and support of application and data integration for Global Business Systems.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience with application and data integration, preferably with some formal or informal leadership experience. Qualifications include:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating with developers, analysts, and business users alike to ensure requirements are met on time and on budget
  • Experience estimating, leading, and delivering complex integration projects
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise scale system integrations for both internal and external systems
  • Experience with ETL and EAI middleware tools including five (5) years’ experience with SAP XI/PI
  • Experience with various integration technologies including middleware platforms, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP web services, and data transformations
  • Experience integrating with SAP ECC 6.0 or higher and experience with various SAP integration techniques, including Proxy, IDoc, and RFC\BAPI
  • Experience with data management across multiple domains, including developing common data models and data architecture for data integration
  • Experience with data security and encryption methodologies
  • Experience with general troubleshooting and logging techniques across technology stacks, which includes evaluating source systems, target systems, databases, network, security, etc.
  • Oil and Gas industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

The candidate will be directly responsible for application and data integration design, development, and support. Candidate will be responsible to ensure projects are on-time, utilize defined processes and best practices, and are of high quality. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day to day production support of 400 interfaces as well as the ownership of the underlying SAP NetWeaver PI middleware for those interfaces
  • Act as a technical lead on large scale integration projects; oversee and assign tasks to contract resources as needed to ensure timely and quality development.
  • Performing hands-on interface (with PI\XI) and database development (scripting and stored procedure development in Oracle and/or SQL Server)
  • Maintaining supported metadata (e.g. unique identifier translation tables, data types, standards, and lookup tables) across disparate data stores
  • Defining tables\views into databases to present the data in a useable form and modifying, as required, when the data model of the underlying databases change
  • Creating common data models for data abstraction and integration layers
  • Defining processes for developing and maintaining linkages across databases and adding links to new data stores
  • Collaborate with business and technical interface owners on upfront design and ongoing support of new interfaces and metadata
  • Determining appropriate integration approach and technology for projects as well as managing and controlling the associated execution/delivery

Education

High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, or related field preferred

Business Advisor (Retail and Commercial & Industrial)

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for SA Product’s Profit and Loss; as well as crude to customer (C2C) Value Chain Optimization.
  • Supports the Business Planning Process, working with Sales (District Sales Managers & Business Consultants) and Marketing Support teams to develop SA Products Volumes and Opex Plans
  • Ensures that customer profitability Account Plans are in place and all customers are profitable
    Works with sales teams and sales & marketing support teams to develop and drives the execution of action plans to rectify non-profitable customers
  • Focuses Sales organization around achieving business financial targets, through an agreed set of strategic and tactical plans. Drives the sales teams to execute all critical milestones and success factors to achieve profitable growth
  • Works with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives to capture profitable opportunity volumes and drive the SA Products organization to deliver on its global strategic direction
  • Advises the sales teams on Net Operating Income (NOI), Cash-Flow and Return On Capital Employed improvement initiatives. Identifies critical success factors for improving NOI, ROCE & cash-flow and works with the sales teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure processes, systems and tactics are executed to meet cash-flow goals
  • Maximizes gross margins, by optimizing the selection, movement and channel placement of fuel products and associated product demand forecasting
  • Drives customer portfolio improvements through the diligent use of Planning systems and the Management Operating System by working closely with the Sales to ensure identifiable improvements in earnings are realized.
    Leverages deep understanding of markets, including competitive environment, channels and customer segmentation, plus regulatory requirements to competitive effect to support the Customer Value Proposition for all Channels
  • Works with relevant stakeholders to implement initiatives that will drive the SA Products organization to deliver on its global strategic direction
  • Works with other marketing support divisions to execute a best practice, customer-focused offering, geared to delivery of Business Plan and Incremental Growth
  • Supports the Sales in the management of and consistent & disciplined execution of processes, procedures, programs and systems towards achieving Business Plan commitments.
  • Conducts regular learning overviews and look backs for quality assurance purposes and obtains feedback from the service recipients to ensure implementation of continuous improvements as well as to identify gross margin improvement opportunities to maximize gross margin, and ensure that all customers are profitable
  • Drives & Supports critical growth initiatives including New Market Entries, New Business, Product Rollouts etc., to ensure SA Products business is optimized achieving the best value possible. Ensures consistent execution of initiatives while aligning to the Customer Value PropositionRequired Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years Oil Industry experience with demonstrated experience in Sales and Marketing or Supply Chain Optimization or Finance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or an Analytical Degree
  • Experience in Driving Customer Profitability; Financial Analysis, Financial Tools usage and Economic Modelling
  • Strong applied knowledge of value drivers in the Downstream Supply Chain Optimization
  • With Leadership ability to participate & facilitates teams and ability to influence direction and outcomes
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and teamwork experience and communication skills across all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong experience in coordinating development of Business Plans and Tactical Plans.
    Experience in SAP, MS OfficePreferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CA

Software Engineer Associate (in Test) Job

Objective:

As a Software Engineer Associate (in Test), you have the opportunity to accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of Ariba products. You will be responsible for enforcing good engineering practices, and evaluating product quality for various Ariba products. Your primary responsibility as a Software Engineer will be to work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing, adopt and enhance new automation tools and create innovative automated test systems. These test systems explore and validate the functional correctness, performance capabilities, and resource usage of our product and its various integration points within and outside Ariba’s Ecosystem.

Expectations and Tasks: 

  • Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system.
  • Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing.
  • Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our world-class applications.
  • Help deliver new or improved features to our customers on time and with excellent quality.

Education and Qualifications: 

  • BS in Computer Science or similar field
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment
  • Familiarity with writing test cases using Junit
  • Familiarity with UI automation tools such as Selenium and Selenium 2.0
  • Good Database concepts and hands on experience with PL/SQL, Linux environment.
  • Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Familiarity with Bug Tracking, Test Case repository and Version Control Systems
