Capital Advisory Associate

The Capital Advisory team at Karbone is recruiting to expand its fast growing business. We are seeking experienced and highly motivated candidates to join our platform in an entrepreneurial setting focused on energy & renewable energy sector. Position details are outlined below:

Requirements:

• Participate in the full deal cycle, interacting with the firm’s institutional investors, renewable
energy developers and lending firms
• Originate acquisition targets in middle market wind, solar and biomass projects in the US
• Work on deal execution and management, representation of clients collateral
development, counterparty analysis, financial modeling, and coordination with external
advisors such as lawyers, accounting firms and lending institutions

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in advising renewable energy or similar alternative energy projects
• Past experience working at energy banking and/or private equity in infrastructure,
renewable and/or similar assets
• A solid understanding of the capital structures used for these assets, such as equity, debt
and tax equity
• Strong accounting, financial modeling and analytical skills
• Excellent writing, proposal preparation and presentation skills

Drilling Engineer – Wellhead Expert 

Saudi Aramco; Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

Job Description: 

Great opportunity for a talented Drilling Engineer with 9+ years of experience and an in-depth wellhead knowledge to join the Drilling & Workover Department of Saudi Aramco. This fulltime opportunity is available with the Drilling Technical Division which supports D&WO through efficient planning and allocation of resources, effective management and dissemination of knowledge and advancement of D&WO practices through the introduction of innovative solutions and promotion of new technology.

This is an ideal role for an individual with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (must have degree)

  • Experienced writing / reviewing wellhead equipment specifications, conducting failure root cause analysis for wellhead equipment and qualifying wellhead suppliers / vendors

The responsibilities will include:

  • Review and optimize, through collaboration with various departments, the wellhead equipment configurations/designs for conventional & complex onshore, offshore & Deepwater wells.
  • Write the wellhead equipment specification for all types of wells/menus in full compliance to the relevant International and Saudi Aramco standards (oil, water, Gas & Exploratory wells).
  • Write the wellhead equipment specification for special projects/type of wells in full compliance with the relevant International and Saudi Aramco standards in addition to the latest qualified wellhead equipment new patents/designs.
  • Review the Wellhead suppliers technical offers and confirm full compliance with Saudi Aramco and International reference standards.
  • Conduct technical review/evaluation to introduce/qualify new wellhead suppliers products, issue TTR for the new wellhead equipment trial on Saudi Aramco wells, follow up on the wellhead supplier performance during manufacturing and installation on rig location and issue a report on the success or otherwise of the new wellhead product/ wellhead supplier.
  • Conduct on time failure root cause analysis for any wellhead equipment failure on rigs location and issue the recommendation to prevent the recurrence of the failure.
  • Extend training/technical support of junior engineers; improvement and sustaining of regional and global standards, practices and procedures.

As part of the team, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and documenting software, tools, and applications for the Success Factors emerging product pipe.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
  • Define and evangelize best-practices for cloud platform programming
  • Develop unit test cases and perform comprehensive unit testing

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
