Enterprise Services & Systems Analyst – Master Data

Job Summary
This position is located in Anadarko’s corporate office as a member of the Enterprise Services and Systems (ESS) Team.

Qualifications
The successful candidate must have excellent analytic, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Proficient in SQL and Microsoft Access
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience; oil & gas industry experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP FI/CO (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Assets Accounting, Cost Center Accounting or Joint Venture Accounting) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of staff and management
  • Highly motivated, self-starting individual; able to multi-task and manage to timelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills that establish and sustain close working relationships with business partners
  • Ability to work weekends or holidays to assist with technical testing, system upgrades, and monthly close support

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily production support in the creation and maintenance of master data for cost centers, joint ventures, material masters and functional locations
  • Approach problem solving from both a technical and business perspective to generate balanced ideas and recommendations
  • Maintain business process documentation and SAP process documentation
  • Actively monitor the accuracy and quality of master data in SAP
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to processing and related applications
  • Participate in the support, design, documentation and testing of the interfaces between SAP and other applications
  • Exercise active listening skills to provide feedback and properly document business requirements
  • May be required to work weekends or holidays and assist with technical testing and system upgrades

Education
Bachelor’s degree required.

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

SCADA Engineer

Job Description:

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced SCADA/Process Control Engineer. Of primary interest is experience in shale gas facilities. • A B.S. in electrical, electronic, system engineering or similar. An M.S. is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of industrial operation facility and shale gas facility experience is preferred, as well as experience in SCADA, instrumentation and process control systems.

The UI team at Ariba is responsible for the development of the cutting-edge Ariba UI framework. Ariba’s UI framework is a core differentiating component for our company and our applications teams; it is leveraged by hundreds of developers in all of the Ariba products, and is used by millions of Ariba users around the world.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will play a crucial role in the future design and development of Ariba’s UI framework. Working closely with designers, technical leadership, product management and application teams, you will create a consistent and well-designed user experience (UX) that will be reflected throughout the Ariba product suite. Day-to-day, your job will be to work with a close-knit team of talented and experienced developers to prototype, build, iterate on and ship high quality code that provides a great user experience for Ariba users. Basic Minimum Qualifications:

    • Expertise in a broad range of web technologies with a good balance between front-end and server-side programming is required. A strong interest in user interface development and a bias toward building frameworks.

    • 4+ years direct programming experience with one or more UI frameworks (Eg. Struts, JSF, Tapestry, GWT etc.)
    • High level of expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON and HTTP. Expertise in one or more JavaScript libraries (jQuery or Angular preferred), DOM manipulation and understanding of object oriented JavaScript.
    • Hands-on experience in coding cross-browser compatible web applications. Knowledge of responsive design and current trends in user interface development for different device types will be a plus.
    • First class object oriented design and programming skills.
    • Experience working with one or more application servers (Eg. Tomcat, JBoss etc.) and web servers (Eg. Apache).
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams on a project.
    • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working on cloud (on-demand) software.
  • Experience with developing software for multiple languages, including Right-to-Left languages.
