Job Description: 

Chevron Corporation in Houston, TX seeks Reservoir Engineer to perform reservoir performance prediction including rock and fluid property interpretation, geologic modeling and numerical simulation. Requires a Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field plus two (2) years of experience with heavy oil, heavy oil recovery mechanisms, thermal recovery, exploration and development of heavy oil process, including experience with reservoir simulation utilizing tools such as CHEARS, Intersect, and CMG-STARS, geologic modeling software like GOCAD and Petrel for use in dynamic modeling. Senior Software Engineer Job

About the Role:

 We are looking for bright and talented professionals from varied product development backgrounds to expand our team that is building the next generation products for the Success Factors suite. As part of the team, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, and documenting software, tools, and applications for the Success Factors emerging product pipe.

 Responsibilities:

  •  Design, develop, and maintain software applications using state-of-the-art tools and technologies.  Define and evangelize best-practices for cloud platform programming
  •  Develop unit test cases and perform comprehensive unit testing
  • Follow AGILE application development standards and best practices as well as those tailored to the SuccessFactors development environment.

Required Qualifications:

  •  B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  •  5 years of overall software development experience, 3+ years in Java.
  •  Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. 
  •  Solid understanding of Core Java concepts and principles.
  •  Solid understanding of Java EE Web Application Technologies.

  •  Working experience with Javascript, AJAX, and HTML.
