Sr ESS Analyst – Midstream & Marketing Systems 

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation; The Woodlands, TX, US 

Job Summary
This position is located in The Woodlands and facilitates ESS (Enterprise Services & Systems) program development and improvement projects for Marketing and Midstream applications.

Qualifications
– This position requires a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in oil and gas accounting, midstream accounting, marketing accounting, or oil and gas marketing.
– Minimum 3 years using or supporting Right Angle, Triple Point or Quorum TIPS applications.
– Highly motivated with working knowledge of key processes in oil and gas accounting, and marketing. Solid analytical skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
– Proficient in collecting business requirements, developing functional & technical specifications and documenting system processes.
– Self-starter with problem solving skills and a willingness to take on new tasks and leadership roles as needed.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and interact effectively with employees and managers from various departments as well as with external representatives.
– Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities
– Work with end-users, ITS department and software vendors to ensure adequate support for Midstream & Marketing applications.
– Work with business users to identify opportunities to improve business and system processes, assist in developing business requirements and cost analysis for enhancements.
– Prepare detailed functional specifications and assist on technical designs for reports, queries, interfaces and application enhancements.
– Approach problem solving from both a technical and business decision perspective to generate balanced ideas and recommendations.
– Lead initiatives and small projects related to the support of Midstream & Marketing applications.
– Assist users to perform integrated testing to insure new functionality works as designed and does not adversely affect existing functionality.
– Facilitate user acceptance testing and assist user community to maintain business process documentation.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informations Systems, Accounting or equivalent.

Grade and salary will be commensurate based upon relevant education and experience.

Communications and Social Performance Manager 

Shell; Anacortes, WA, US 

Purpose:

Implement global Manufacturing internal and external communications strategies and policies at site level, including fence line communications, facility representation, media response, issues management and non-technical risk management related to permits and other strategic business issues.

Oversees and contributes to delivery of asset in terms of cost and schedule through effective Social Performance strategy, planning, risk and impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, social investment, and overall community strategy.

Support other smaller assets in the Western Region re: press and emergency response and issue management, e.g. pipelines and terminals with the priority on the Puget Sound Refinery as the core asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of local communications strategies and plans (both internal and external) for the Manufacturing business at asset to achieve local business goals.
  • Provide internal Communications counsel and support to asset including developing news stories (written and video) to help employees understand business strategy, challenges and opportunities for improved performance.
  • Monitor, identify and manage (together with US West Coast Communications Manager and relevant Business Communications issues focal point) business issues (as appropriate) and provide Communications counsel on areas of reputation opportunity and risk to the Site Leadership Team.
  • In consultation with the US West Coast CX Mgr, provide strategic Communications counsel and support on areas of reputation opportunity and risk to relevant business leaders.
  • Strengthen and enhance Shell’s reputation through effective communications support to key Shell projects at the site level including:
  • Lead development of communication strategy and stakeholder engagement plans to support successful project stages from start up to execution
  • Work closely with Government Relations (GR), Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE) and Social Performance resources to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could potentially harm Shell’s reputation
  • Develop and implement an overall strategy for issues and stakeholder management in the region in conjunction with the GR group and existing Social Performance Plan.
  • Deliver social performance support including social investment at asset in order to meet business objectives and maintain social license to operate, i.e.Ensure adequate delivery of SP (including SI) capability and resource to Project/Asset

    • Undertake/oversee Specialist SP activities
  • Ensure compliance with the SP Manual and other relevant aspects of the HSSE&SP Control Framework.

Requirements:

  • Must have legal authorization to work full-time in the US for anyone other than current employer.
  • Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communications, Journalism or related field required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years communication experience required
  • Previous manufacturing facility experience within communications a plus
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience preferred
  • Demonstrable understanding of the business – gained in operating company or global business environment internally and externally
  • Able to think strategically and translate business objectives into multi-channel strategies / plans
  • Ability to secure the trust of senior leaders personal behaviours and performance
  • Strong communications background with track record experience in external affairs and/or media management
  • Self-starter showing high degree of personal initiative, drive, and desire to come up with new business targeted creative solutions
  • Applied and varied work experience in environmental and social fields in different social and cultural contexts

Lead Integrations Consultant

Successfactors is seeking an experienced senior-level Integrations Consultant to work as a Lead Technical Consultant in the Integrations practice within our Technical Services Organization. Up to 20% travel may be required.

 Job Duties include:

  • Use Enterprise integration/application tools to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and deploy integrations/applications for customers
  • Ability to lead a team from a technical perspective and enable effective communication between the team and the stakeholders.
