Sr. Reservoir Engineer

ConocoPhillips Company; Houston, TX, US 

Job Description: 

  • ConocoPhillips Company has an opening for a Sr. Reservoir Engineer in Houston, TX to work under the supervision of Enhanced Recovery Technology Director and to serve as a team member in the conception, evaluation, and execution of improved oil recovery (IOR) technology including gas injection, waterflood, conformance, and chemical EOR for ConocoPhillips assets globally.
  • Requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering and two years of experience with engineering workflows on IOR processes including gas injection, waterflood, conformance, and chemical EOR including experience building advanced reservoir simulation and analytical models for designing IOR field tests and forecasting reservoir performance on a wide range of reservoir types including unconventional shale plays, naturally fractured carbonates, and friable sandstones; using numerical compositional flow phase behavior simulation of gas injection using equations of state in fractured reservoirs with near-critical fluids; defining EOR mechanisms such as molecular diffusion and related transport phenomena in porous media; evaluating and up-scaling chemical formulations of surfactants and polymers, and designing gas injection IOR experiments in fractured media; and designing EOR field pilot tests and execution of development plan in collaboration with 3rd party contractors and service providers.
  • Employer will also accept a PhD or equivalent in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering and one year of experience in the skills listed above. Must possess some experience using a programming language to communicate with reservoir simulation developers on EOR modeling algorithms; mentoring and/or teaching in order to develop staff; preparing and evaluating technical research materials in order to discreetly manage intellectual property issues and policies in joint industry projects and research consortia.

Senior Accounting Specialist – Regulatory 

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation; The Woodlands, TX, US

Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 or more year’s relevant experience in oil and gas accounting and familiarity with regulatory reporting required
• Candidate should have working knowledge of the current regulatory rules and filing requirements for ONRR (2014) reporting
• Must be able to review and understand the federal regulations and ensure compliance with the laws
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as PRA SAP is preferred
• Solid analytical and organizational skills with the ability to research and resolves issues effectively and communicate actions as required
• Must have verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with partners
• Microsoft Office EXCEL skills are required.

Responsibilities 
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Provided Support for preparing the monthly federal royalty returns (2014’s)
• Maintain master files for new properties and reporting
• Research and Pay Interest Bills
• Assist in compiling information for data requests.
• Work with regulatory accounting team to ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines
• Partner with Regulatory, Land, Marketing and Revenue to establish appropriate procedures to maximize accuracy and savings

Education
A minimum 2-4 years college with Accounting emphasis preferred, High School diploma required.

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

Senior Account Executive – SLED/Utilities Southeast

About the Role: 
SuccessFactors is seeking an experienced senior sales executive to drive strategic enterprise-wide sales initiatives into named large Utilities and State & Local government accounts in the given territory. Responsibilities include qualifying, selling and closing new business into large prospects and installed accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
* Sell value and ROI into C-Level business decision makers, as well as sell into HR leaders

* Previous experience selling HRIS/HCM software and/or selling into HR a plus
* Consistent over-quota performance and top tier company ranking with track record of above OTE achievement
