Clastic Stratigrapher

Chevron Corporation in Houston, TX seeks Clastic Stratigrapher to conduct depositional facies & sequence stratigraphic analysis for the purpose of characterizing & predicting shallow and deepwater reservoirs. Requires MS (or foreign equivalent) in Geology, Marine Geology or a closely related field + 2yrs clastic stratigraphic experience, including experience in stratigraphic interpretation & integration of subsurface data in clastic depositional environments including eolian, fluvial, shallow-marine, & deep-water.

Project Manager

The Project Manager has the primary responsibility for execution of Downstream Capital Projects as they apply to front end development (Assess, Select & Define phases), detailed design and construction (Execute phase) including procurement, cost control and schedule management.

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
  • BS in Engineering, Mechanical or Chemical preferred
  • Minimum 15+years of experience as a Project Engineer/ Project Manager
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools

Accountant III – Financial Reporting & Compliance 

New York Power Authority: White Plains, NY

The Accountant III Financial Reporting and Compliance performs accounting work at NYPA related to the compilation, treatment, and analysis of financial data.  In this position you will assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintain accounting records and internal control documentation. You will perform analysis of data presented in NYPA financial reports, analyze the impact of new GAAP requirements/transactions and assist with the maintenance/development of policies and procedures to meet compliance objectives. You will also assist in the coordination of NYPA-wide compliance with external financial and statutory reporting requirements.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant license.
  • 3-5 years of experience of accounting experience in a large corporate or government environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting with strongly utilized analytical skills.
  • Electric utility industry experience is preferred.
