Germany Invests Heavily In Solar Energy

The energy industry – oil & gas sector in particular – is bracing itself for a massive wave of retirements over the short to medium term, which has been dubbed “The Great Shift Change.” As the industry prepares for this turnover, companies are looking to the next generation of candidates with skills ranging from finance, geology, engineering, law, etc.

This position is located in Kermit, Texas as a member of the Delaware Basin Operations Team. The candidate will work in a team environment with engineers, operators and contractors with direct charge over our water systems including disposal, reclamation and gathering in West Texas. The candidate will also collaborate heavily with EH&S, Land, Legal, Regulatory and Supply Chain support groups to ensure operations compliance.

Geophysical Sr Advisor

Apache; San Antonio, TX

The Exploration Geophysicist is responsible for generating drillable prospects, evaluating outside deals, and providing regional geological framework.  This position will work in a multidisciplinary group of professionals involved in the identification of new and pre-existing acreage for capture, comparison regionally and globally to other opportunities, as well as detailed evaluation and assessment of new exploration opportunities.  It requires a working knowledge of petroleum economics, related to developments and drilling.  Sound working knowledge relating to petroleum systems and subsurface risk assessment, geochemistry, sedimentology, stratigraphy, seismic interpretation, and drilling & completions techniques.
