They’re killing it on You Tube, but these videos featuring celebrities including Marisa Tomei, Darren Criss, Lance Bass, Daryl Hannah, Amy Smart, Hayden Panettiere and Wilmer Valderrama really dumb down the conversation.

There are genuine issues related to fracking – like ground- and surface-water impacts – that warrant serious discussion, but drivel like this only serves to confuse and frighten people unfamiliar with the oil and gas development technology.
